Make-Up:  Less is more!

Less is more, remember girls the natural look is in, use make-up to enhance your beauty not to create it.  Ladies it’s about time we started celebrating our natural beauty instead of trying to add to it artificially by covering it up.   A couple quick tips:

  • Lip Liner  -- Ladies, stop using a lip liner that is darker then your lipstick.  Do we really need two sets of lips or a mustache?  Lip liner is meant to transition your lips to your face not to separate them from it.
  • Eyebrows – Thin eye brows are out. Use your natural eyebrows as template and pluck along your natural lines.

 The natural look can be as simple as applying a little less foundation or a little less eye shadow.  Start slowly and you will be on your way to bringing out your natural beauty in no time.

Fitness: Fab abs

Getting fit abs does not take a lot of work you just need to work smart at it. Working smart starts with a smart choice of exercise and crunches is a smart place to begin. Remember crunches are meant to be done slow and deliberate, it is not a race to see how many you can do in a minute or two, this will get you hurt. 

When doing Crunch’s Make sure your lower back always remains in contact with the floor in upper-ab movements. Crunch any higher than this and you'll use your hip-flexor muscles to pull yourself up.   Also, do not pull your head up with your arms; you will end up with neck problems.  Crunches are a great movement when done properly. 

 You can do these almost any time. We would recommend that you start your day out doing your crunches, it will give you a great boost to start your day.  Use this as a start and in our next issue we will expand on this to give you the look you want.

Fashion

  • When trying on an outfit, close your eyes in front of the your mirror and then open them quickly. If your eyes go directly to the clothing rather than to your face, the outfit maybe too overpowering.   Ladies, let the outfit complement you, don’t try to complement the outfit.
  • Scale your outfit to your bone size and height. The more petite you are, the more petite the outfit can be.
  • When selecting an outfit remember the incorrect size can spoil a great look.  Girls, we know everyone wants to create the perfect body and you want to show it off but wearing the correct size can enhance your beauty.  Remember there is a difference to looking sexy verses slutty. Sexy is always better so remember to dress with style to bring out your inner sexiness!

Health

Ladies, we all think we are invincible when we are young but this is not true. You need to start taking care of yourself now, including your skin!  A good daily multi-vitamin can help and good eating habits are the way to go.  Remember a diet will never work in the long run; you are just setting yourself up for failure.  Any weight loss will always come back when you go off the diet.

 What you need to do is change your eating lifestyle, start out by taking out a bad food choice and substituting it with a good food choice.  Do this a little at a time and before you know it you will have a whole new eating lifestyle.  If you do this and start or continue a good workout program. Before you know it, you will lose the word diet from your vocabulary and you will never need to go on one again.  We know this is no easy task but the effort you put into it will pay off for years to come. Next issue we will get into good food choice’s so if anyone has any ideas they would care to share? Please send them in.  Anything from receipts, food choices or your very own testimony of how you did. Please send them in.
